The wind-resistant, water-repellent front helps protect the body from cold air and light moisture, while the breathable mesh back releases heat quickly. Men's Windproof Cycling Vest Design Philosophy

The main goal of this vest is to protect the rider’s core from direct wind while allowing excess heat to escape during high-effort cycling. We focused on front-body protection, rear ventilation, lightweight layering, and convenient temperature adjustment.

A high-density polyester fabric covers the chest and abdomen to block wind and provide water-repellent performance in damp conditions. Designed for lightweight layering, this cycling vest weighs only 98g in size M, making it easy to carry and comfortable to wear without adding bulk. The elastic jacquard mesh back was selected to release heat and moisture generated during climbs, with quick-dry performance rated at ≥0.25 g/h.

The relaxed cycling fit accommodates short-sleeve jerseys, long-sleeve jerseys, and light fleece. A two-way zipper supports adjustable ventilation, while narrow armhole binding and an elastic-bound hem help maintain freedom of movement and a smooth fit.

Wind-Blocking Front | Breathable Mesh Back

The high-density front panel covers the areas most exposed to direct airflow while riding. Its wind-blocking construction helps reduce cold air across the chest and abdomen during cool starts, open sections, and fast descents.
At the back, elastic mesh allows accumulated heat and moisture to escape during climbs and harder efforts. This front-and-back fabric combination supports core protection without enclosing the entire upper body in a solid wind-resistant layer.
Two-Way Zipper | Adjustable On-Bike Ventilation

The full-length #3 reverse nylon zipper opens from both the top and bottom, allowing riders to adjust ventilation as effort levels and conditions change. The lower opening can release additional heat while the upper section continues covering the chest.
A 4.5 cm zipper pull provides a larger gripping point for easier operation. A fabric guard covers the top of the zipper to help prevent the slider from catching or pinching the neck.
Relaxed Cycling Fit | Easy Layering and Free Arm Movement

The low-compression, relaxed fit is designed for layering over a short-sleeve cycling jersey, long-sleeve jersey, or lightweight fleece. It provides additional protection without creating a restrictive race-tight feel.
The 1 cm armhole binding keeps the sleeveless openings light and streamlined while allowing the shoulders and arms to move naturally. Riders between sizes should choose the larger size, especially when planning to add an insulating layer underneath.
Elastic-Bound Hem | Lightweight Stability

The elastic-bound hem helps the vest sit smoothly around the lower body during seated pedaling, standing efforts, and changes in riding position. Its low-profile construction is designed to reduce rubbing, tightness, and edge rolling.
At approximately 98 g in size M, the vest provides lightweight core coverage without the bulk of a full cycling jacket. It can be carried as an adaptable outer layer for rides that begin cool or include exposed downhill sections.
UPF 50+ | Front and Rear Reflective Details

The fabric provides UPF 50+ coverage for exposed outdoor riding. This adds sun coverage while maintaining the lightweight, sleeveless construction required for active mountain and off-road cycling.
Reflective silver details are positioned at the front and back to improve rider visibility in lower-light conditions. These elements add visibility support but do not replace bicycle lights or other appropriate reflective equipment.
