I bought the Przewalski Men’s 3D Padded Cycling Bib Shorts in 2018 and was amazed by the comfort—no pain until after 50 miles. Later, I tried $104 Bontrager and $180 Specialized RBX Pro bibs, but neither matched the comfort of the Przewalskis. The 3D Dupont green insert provides excellent seat bone padding without bulk, and the fit is great with smooth stitching. Compared to high-end brands, these offer superior comfort and quality at a much better price. I’ve already bought a second pair!

These bib shorts are lightweight, affordable, and perfect for summer rides. Compared to $150–$250 brand-name options, they perform just as well and cost a fraction of the price. I’m 5'8”, 185 lbs, and the size large fits comfortably without feeling tight. My more expensive P.I. bibs wear out faster and aren’t as comfortable. These Przewalski bibs hold up great, feel good, and save you money—enough to invest the difference in your Roth IRA! Highly recommended for anyone who wants quality without overpaying.

  • J. Davis

I’d had these in my cart for weeks, researching for better value—but nothing beat them. At 5'10” and 190 lbs, the large fits perfectly. The padding is well placed, the fabric light and breathable—ideal for summer. The straps stay put, leg bands grip comfortably, and the rear panel keeps my back dry. I love the subtle design without flashy logos. I’ll size down next time as I’m losing weight. Having used their Spotti jerseys too, I trust the brand’s quality and value. Great gear without overspending—definitely worth it.

  • Benjamin Hargreaves

I own many cycling shorts and bibs and have become a real fan of bibs. Price doesn’t always equal comfort—my $70 Pearl Quest feels better than the $190 Quest Pro. Everyone’s body and saddle are different, so fit matters most. I was skeptical about these Przewalski bibs but decided to try them based on reviews—and I’m very glad I did. The fit is snug but comfortable, the padding is just right, and the performance rivals pricier brands. While the fabric wicks slightly less than Pearl’s lycra, the value is unbeatable. I’ll definitely be buying another pair.

  • BEN

I bought these as a backup for my $90 bibs, but they quickly became my go-to pair. The chamois is slimmer and more comfortable than many name brands, and the fabric feels durable. The thigh cuffs could be wider, but overall, these perform incredibly well for the price. I’m 5'11”, 140–145 lbs, and the small fits perfectly—snug but not restrictive. Great for long rides, with ideal length and comfort. I now highly recommend any Przewalski gear featuring the Pro Tech chamois. Przewalski, please make 3/4-length bib capris with this padding—I’d buy two immediately!

  • B. Grissom

I love these bib shorts—they’re my first pair, and I’m very impressed. I was hesitant about the inseam length, but at 5'11”, they fit perfectly, just like my much pricier LG Carbon Shorts. The padding is excellent—I’ve ridden about 100 miles in them with consistent comfort and no soreness. These are perfect for anyone new to bibs who wants great value and performance. I’ll definitely be buying a second pair soon. Highly recommended for fit, comfort, and unbeatable price.

  • Robert Casanova

I ride a Trek Émonda that I love, but saddle soreness was a big issue—my glutes hurt after 30 minutes. I considered buying a new saddle but decided to try these Przewalski cycling bibs instead, and I’m so glad I did. After a two-hour ride, I felt zero soreness or discomfort and could finally enjoy the ride pain-free. The fabric quality and stitching are excellent—durable, comfortable, and far from cheap-looking. For the price, this was a perfect solution, and I’ll definitely recommend these bibs to all my cycling friends.

Good quality, very comfortable, lots of padding in the right places, and it stays in place. Great value.

Paul rated 5 stars and said: "I've bought two pairs of these. And I have to say that I really like them. Quick caveat: this is my first time using bibs as opposed to shorts, so I don't have anything to compare them to. My experience with them so far (10 rides around 25 miles each) has been great. The good: Great fit. Very comfortable. The chamois is great, with plenty of padding, and I haven't had any issues with saddle soreness or numbness. The grip at the bottom of the short is VERY grippy. No riding up. The fabric is stretchy, but thick, which I like. Value is great! Love the look as well. The colored stitching provides just enough style without being too loud. The bad: I wish the red ones had pockets. The plain black ones I got have pockets and I love them. The grip at the bottom of the shorts is so grippy that they can be a bit of a pain to get all the way up into place. I found it easiest to roll the bottom of the shorts up, put them on, then roll it back down onto my leg. Lastly, I wish the inseam was just a hair shorter. This is more of a 'me' problem, as I have a long torso and short legs, but the shorts pretty much hit the top of my knee cap, and I wish they were about an inch and a half higher so they didn't bunch up at the back of the knee. Overall, these are great, and at a price point where I can afford to buy more than one pair and replace them if they only last one or two seasons. Great buy. Would definitely recommend."

xsaero00 rated 5 stars and said: "Very good set of bibs. I have used these for hundreds of miles and own three pairs now. Pros: The fit is great. The pad is quite firm. The straps are comfortable. The leg seals are very grippy and do not slide. They're not flashy and do not have any extra graphics. Cons: The quality of the seams sometimes disappoint with threads coming out. When the pair is new they're very slippery and keep sliding on the seat, but that goes away after the first wash."

Fernando Palencia rated 4 stars and said: "I have been cycling for a few years and am in need of updating my riding wardrobe. I ordered these bibs in hopes of using them on my shorter, more frequent rides. I am still looking for bibs to use on longer rides. I will review these bibs over 3 rides, so it will be little long. -If you don't have time to read the whole post: Overall they are quality bibs, great price and be aware that they might feel a little 'rough' on initial rides but will soften up with use. Definitely recommend them. When I received the bibs, my first impression was that they were very well made, the stitching seemed strong and I didn't notice any 'rough spots'. The padding seemed a little thick on initial inspection but I threw them in the wash in an attempt to 'soften' everything up. My first ride with these bibs was a 20 mile ride. The fit was great, they were very supportive and even throughout my body. The straps are very comfortable and keep the bib in place. The pad still felt a little thick but I hoped that it would flatten out with the ride. Initial feel was a good but several miles into the ride I felt some pressure points on the chamois pad and the overall feeling was still thick. I tried adjusting but the feeling persisted. The straps maintained a very comfortable feel. The rest of the garment was very comfortable and supportive. The leg grips are effective and comfortable. So on my first ride the feeling was great but had some 'rough spots' on the pad. After a wash, my second ride was also approx. 20 miles. The feeling was similar and the 'rough spots' were still there. The pad did seem to flatten out a bit and was not as bulky as the first ride. Yesterday I went on a 20 mile ride and the 'rough spots' were no longer there. The pad felt much flatter and more comfortable. I wonder if they just needed a couple of washes and some 'breaking in'. Either way, I am very happy with these bibs. The price is great! I have Castelli bibs, PI and a few other brands and these are very comparable to those brands on these shorter rides. I definitely recommend this brand and will be looking out for other of their products."

Cyclingnut rated 5 stars and said: "This is the 3rd or 4th pair of cycling bibs I have purchased from Przewalski over the last years. These bibs are good quality, fit well, comfortable and are much cheaper than brands such as Castelli or Louie Garneau etc."

JB rated 5 stars and said: "This is the 2nd pair of bibs I've purchased from this company and I'm very happy with them. The Medium fits me well overall. I'm 5'9" approx 160lbs for reference. The legs are about an inch longer than I would like, and wish they would make them a little shorter, but that's not a deal killer for me. The upper part of the bib is very comfortable and I don't overheat in them. The leg grippers work really well, and don't slip. The pad is the real selling point for me. It's comfortable and doesn't bunch up like many others do. For the price I wish they made a non bib version, that's how much I like them. These compete well with larger name brands at half the cost."

K T rated 5 stars and said: "Have many hours in the saddle wearing standard cycling shorts, but this is my first bib. Why oh why have I not switched before now? Initial impressions, will update if any major changes: seams all intact, complete, no loose threads; thigh grip strips appear just right; pad is perfect, chamois-thin at edges but padded and flexible where needed, seams are flush, this expect zero chafing; suspenders thin and breathable and support the shorts with perfect tension without pulling or binding on shoulders; overall feel is ridiculously and unbelievably comfortable. Have a 30-mile ride in a couple of days; if the initial impression holds up, then I’ll buy another bib that same afternoon. Some have said these fit tight, but that is not my initial experience. I purchased large per sizing chart, and fit is not as snug as expected. I’m accustomed to a slightly tighter fit, but don’t want to risk suspenders binding because they’re too short. So will go with these and see how they wear on the road, and over time. Bottom line; initial impressions are very favorable for quality and value. This is especially high praise coming from someone with CDO. (It’s like OCD, but the letters are in proper alphabetical order.) UPDATE: Initial favorable impressions have held up over a year or so. Recently purchased second bib, same size. Current sizing seems consistent with first purchase. Chamois may even be slightly more comfortable. Highly recommend. SIX-YEAR UPDATE: Everything above still holds true. These have become my go-to bibs. I’ve purchased several more over the years, and in a couple of different colors for a bit of variety. They may be slightly less durable more expensive bibs. Maybe. (Or maybe my wife is being extra careful that I don’t flash other riders. e.g., When the bib gets thin enough that as my wife is cycling behind me she says ‘hey, the way the sun is shining lets people see too much, so it’s time for those to go and time for you to order another’). However, the cost-benefit equation works very well for me."

jmorse rated 4 stars and said: "These are solid entry level bibs for someone who has never worn bibs before. The material used has a lot of stretch which keeps things from moving around while also providing forgiveness for those who are not the perfect cyclist shape (cough). The chamois provides a decent amount of cushioning and doesn't rub uncomfortably. The leg grippers grip - in fact rather aggressively so, but not so much as to be uncomfortable once they are in place. The shoulder straps don't seem to bunch up uncomfortably and provide enough tension that they stay in place without biting into your shoulders. In short if you are looking to buy a pair of bibs and don't want to spend over $50 to do so this is a solid choice. Could they be better? Probably. The chamois is a bit thick, but also doesn't have the density to protect sensitive bits for hours and hours on a trainer. It's ok for shorter rides though. The legs don't provide much compression at all. There are definitely bibs I like more for only a little bit more. But - these are a safe choice if you don't know of anything you like more in this price range."

Robert A Vaccari rated 5 stars and said: "I use the sizing guide to purchase RECYCLING bib shorts. The guide recommended XL and I am 6 foot four 260 pounds. I am getting back into cycling after an injury and I usually wear Pearl Izumi bib shorts. I ordered a 2 XL. To be on the safe side. These bib shorts are tailored specifically for a European writing physique very slender. The big shorts felt like they were size large at best. The leg grippers are very tight and I don’t know how they would hold up overtime. The padding on the shorts is also very thick in the back and they appear to be more of a beginner entry level short. If your sit bones are already broken in and you’re accustomed to writing. I feel like the shorts had too much padding for my preference. The shorts had a great price just not a good fit for me."

Saul Pacheco rated 5 stars and said: "220lbs 5.11 tall xl fit pretty good, fit legs not bulky but muscular not too exaggerated but fit. Have pretty good compression in legs, padding seem to hold pretty well and comfortable. Did a mile century ride for over 5hrs plus padding was impressive comfortable, customer service and seller 100% recommended they will answer all your questions and concerns quickly thank you."

Amazon Customer rated 5 stars and said: "it's affordable and comfortable/fits well and holds up well in the washing machine. bought 2 more."

Colt Covington rated 4 stars and said: "Absolutely love the price, it is difficult for me to shell out hundreds of dollars for a bib. Only 2 concerns so far. First, it feels a bit warm on hot days. Second, there is some bunching of the material on my leg but maybe I got a size too big. Padding seems good. No issues yet with stitching or material."

Steven Doolittle rated 4 stars and said: "Initial try on, they seem a tad tight, especially in the legs. I'm hesitant to go a size up cause the legs are already quite long. Very well padded. 3 hour ride today, bibs are quite nice. I like the higher cut in the front, helps hold in my little extra tummy. Could use a bit LESS pad in the front. Overall very good for the price. I'd like to see if they have a full length TIGHT for cooler weather riding."

#NAME? rated 5 stars and said: "Very nicely made short unlike others at this price. Nothing cheap about the seams. Very grippy leg openings (to the point that my toes almost always get hung up on them (guess I should put my socks on first). The pad is the thickest I've ever had in 20 years of riding, but I like these enough that I've bought 2 more since my original purchase."

Darkslide rated 5 stars and said: "I was able to go out on my first gravel ride in these bibs and was impressed by the comfort level. I’m 6’2 250lb and bought a XXL like the sizing chart suggested. They fit really well minus the length was a little long in the legs. The chart read up the 6’3 for this size but if you’re taller they should work fine. The inside seams are a little rough. They didn’t cause any chafing but they’re noticeable when you put them on. This ride was also my first time clipping in and as I’ve read several times …. You will fall over. Well I did and the bibs were perfectly fine after I brushed myself off. With that, if you’re looking to try out bibs or have a back up pair I think these would be very good option. Eventually though you’ll probably want to upgrade for better fit and comfort."

Mike Lawson rated 4 stars and said: "Really Happy with the Sabin Shorts. Quality & comfort, and construction are very good. I bought the (Large) size, which is what I wear in other Bibs. I do not think I can fit in a Medium, but these seem a little long for my Femur length, or not as Flat/tight as others in that area (and my thighs are pretty solid). Good value for the money. Feel-good, work well, but normally, don’t have to stretch the legs out, to lay the ridges down."

HM rated 5 stars and said: "These fit great! They're a little longer than I'm accustomed to, but the length is growing on me. The elastic is nice and tight around your thighs, which I do appreciate. The bib suspenders hold everything in place so you never get that saggy diaper look from your chamois. Speaking of chamois, the cushion is just right, not to bulky, but not to thin either. Slather your favorite chamois cream into these bad boys and your ride will be silky smooth."

John Trureview rated 5 stars and said: "If you a big fatty like me these are the best. 1st they Fit. Make sure you buy the biggest size because in my experience they run at least a size small im a xl but I buy 2xl or if they have bigger I get the biggest size they sell up to 4x. I have owned several pairs of this brand and will continue to wear this brand as the hold up and keep you COMFORTABLE AF."

Carlton Johnson III rated 5 stars and said: "Just ordered my second pair. Fit great, no issues washing and drying, pad hasn’t lost its comfort in 6 months of use so far and provides better support than other budget options I’ve tried. Went to order my second pair and was shocked too see they only cost $40, from the experience I had I was ready to pay $100+ for another pair."

MsIke72 rated 4 stars and said: "Size: Ordered a large but probably could have gotten an XL. I’m a little between sizes. Pockets: none. Material quality: Pretty great for the price, the chamois still has great cushion after about 100 miles of riding."

Daniel Cotton rated 5 stars and said: "I have tried a variety of cycling, bibs, including high price, brand names, and other offbrands. I have to say that these are by far the most comfortable and the best padding I have found so far. The padding is extra thick for comfort in the right areas. I use these on my road bike and I have a high-end saddle. These bibs make the rides more comfortable."

LarryC rated 4 stars and said: "I've been a competitive cyclist for over 40 years and wore various sponsors' kits for much of that time. For that reason, I've worn most of the major brands over the years. I'm no longer racing seriously and no longer sponsored so I'm on my own for kits. I wear 4 or 5 high end brands of bibs on the road but wear old bibs on the indoor trainer. Those older bibs needed replacing so I bought this bib with not much in the way of expectations. I was pleasantly surprised at the fit and material. It's a little heavier weight than my road bibs, particularly in summer, but they are not too heavy. I like them enough that this pair has become part of my gravel and XC kit and I plan on buying 2 more for my indoor trainer and gravel/XC riding. You can see the only [minor] issues in the photos: the branding is poorly affixed and mostly came off after a single wash. After 2 washes it was completely gone. I prefer it that way so no big deal for me. The other is the stitching. One example is shown of a large, thick, thread hanging down that I had to cut off. Other less noticeable threads needed removing. Again, no big deal and worth the nearly $170 savings over my better road bibs. If I have issues with the the durability of these bibs in the next few months, I'll update my review. In the meantime. These are pretty nice for <$40."

maloneranger rated 5 stars and said: "I have been very happy with my first pair so just purchased my second pair. Provides a great comfortable ride in the 30-45 mile range at a really amazing price. You could easily pay at least 2x as much--or more--and not get a better set of bibs. Hoping this second pair delivers like the first. Have done a couple of rides and so far, so good."

Kevin Farren rated 4 stars and said: "Ok, so my expectations for this product were low. I usually bite the bullet and pay for more premium bibs but with these I was just looking for something to wear while on my indoor trainer so I didn't wear out my nicer bibs. My metrics: 5'10" (1.78m) / 200 lbs (90kg). Ordered both an XL and L. I got the XL first and it felt a bit on the big side. The L felt much better. I would say the sizing is more typical of American sizing than European. Material. The material seems pretty sturdy and is on the thicker side but not winter thick. I would classify these more of a spring/fall bib though you could get away with summer riding if you don't live in extremely hot locations. The front of the bib is pretty high and covers the belly button and would do a good job of holding back one with a bit of a belly. The back also has quite a bit of material but is still comfortable. There is a tag in the back that I ended up cutting off. Overall I am impressed with the material at this price point. I've bought other bibs in this price range and after a few months of use they thin-out and anyone sitting on my wheel gets to view the top of my backside (that's why I pay for better bibs now). I don't get the impression that these will suffer the same fate. Shoulder straps. They are about 2.5 inches wide and are neither great or bad. They are wide enough that they don't dig into your shoulders which is nice. Shammy. I expected this to be pure garbage but again, I was pleasantly surprised. They are not the best but way better than anything else I've seen at this price point. Don't get me wrong, they will not compare to a pair of $200 bibs but they are ok. Overall. Like I said before, for the price point you would be hard pressed to find anything better, especially if you just need a workhorse pair of bibs for indoor and training rides. Hope this helps!"

Trixxer13 rated 5 stars and said: "The fit was great, I wear an XL and they fit perfect. I have used these for a few longer rides, around 40 miles, and they stay comfortable. The chamois is a good thickness and fits as it should. I like the green color and small pocket on the leg. I now have 4 pair of these, my older ones are still going strong and the chamois is still working as intended after 100's of miles."

Amazon Customer rated 5 stars and said: "These would get 6 stars if I could. This brand has shown that you don’t have to pay $100’s for decent bibs. Great color/fit."

Amazon Customer rated 5 stars and said: "These bibs are nice quality with a decent pad - great value for the cost."

BFM90 rated 5 stars and said: "Bought 2 of these in black and gray. Excellent value and quality for the price. Padding is adequate for long 20+ mile road bike rides. Washes and dries well with other bike clothes in laundry cycle. I bought large size and I'm 5'10 and the shorts hang down right above the knee which is what I prefer. I hate bike shorts that only hang down to mid thigh. Fabric is comfortable. Recommended."

Chuck White rated 4 stars and said: "I’m 5 foot 10 inches tall and weigh 152 pounds. I bought a medium and it’s a snug fit as it should be. I like the longer leg length compared to other bib shorts. Won’t be my main pair but good to have a less expensive pair for rainy days or gravel/sand riding. Durability is TBD."

Sailracer rated 5 stars and said: "I've picked up 3 sets of Przewalski bib shorts now and am pretty happy with them, at least when I get them on sale for a little over twenty bucks. At their approximately forty dollar price right now, they are much less of a good deal. The chamois is comfortable for short to intermediate rides but anything beyond about 2 hours is pushing it with this padding. The padding also seems to wear a bit faster than expensive brand-name bibs, but at 1/5th to 1/10th the cost, you can afford to replace them. I do wish these had a phone pocket on them, but I see they have now added a model with pockets. It is more expensive, though. On comfort and performance, I would give these 4 stars, but taking value into account, I am bumping that up to 5."

North Woods Wanderer rated 5 stars and said:
"Decided to make the shift to Bibs from bike shorts. I looked over the offerings on Amazon and ordered three different brands, these, Santic, and Ceroti. After trying on each in medium and large settled on the Przewalskis. At least for my body type these fit the best, and I was impressed with the good and even compression and feel of their bibs over the others. The fabric feels very well made and I noticed no seam rubs or other discomforts with them. And the padding also felt the best.
You never really know for sure until you ride with them, of course, and I've now been out with these on about 6 rides and about 200 miles. The longest ride was 41 miles. They have worked out great so far. More comfortable than my best biking shorts and no problems - at least at this distance. I can't tell you how these would be on a century ride but for my typical 25-45 mile rides these have been great. I ordered a second pair.
FYI, I'm about 165, pretty lean, and a bit over 5'10". Tried both medium and large, and could have gone with either but chose the mediums for a little more compression and have been happy.
As to the other bibs, the Santics just didn't feel as good. Their seams weren't as smooth and their panels were cut differently and didn't feel as good or have the same, even compression. The Cerotis, which were somewhat more expensive, also didn't feel quite as good - although I really liked the small pockets on each leg (the Santic also had one leg pocket). I probably would have kept a pair of them, but the design of the bibs seemed fated to fail over time as the top half of the bib was a different white fabric with a stitched seam around the waist, and it already looked like it was about to tear apart at a couple points from the stress on that seam. I liked the unified layout of the panels on the Przewalskis much better. The panels flow into the upper part, which to me seemed more comfortable, better looking, and far less prone to failure over time due to wear.
If my experience with these bibs changes significantly over time I will update this review. But for now I heartily recommend them - a great value at $36. The only thing I would change would be to add a version with a leg pocket for those that would want one."

"The best thing about these are the price. They perform about as well as 80 dollar bibs from other makers. My primary complaint is that the thighs are too tight. It takes some extra work getting them on all the way. I got the extra large and they are big enough in the area above the waist but pulling them up my thighs is a lot of work. Once I have them on they feel good and they are as good as any other pair of more expensive bibs that I have. I don't really like the gripper part on the lower leg but I don't like gripper bands at all. I wish I could find bibs that just have a hemmed bottom instead of gripper material."

"I was extremely skeptical, given the insanely low price of these bibs compared to the other bibs I own (which are all in the $100-$125 range). After my first test however, I think I might be a believer. Here's a little bit about me. I'm 6'4", and carrying about 25 lbs more than I should be at the moment, clocking in between 220-230. I'm a size 34-36 waist, and the XL fit perfectly.
I am not a competitive cyclist, rather, there are two or three rides I do every year, ranging from one-day rides between 30 and 70 miles, and my annual 3-day, 200 mile ride (CowaLUNGa). That three-day ride is the reason I bought these bibs, because I only recently discovered the joy of bib shorts over regular shorts, and only had two pair in my collection (Bontrager and Pearl Izumi). I saw the price of these and decided to try them out to see if they were any good.
Last night was my first ride in these shorts and I went for just over an hour at an average cadence of 98 rpm - in other words, not a leisurely ride. Last night was the first time this year that I didn't have to shift my position on the seat because my sit bones were getting too sore (I have an Adamo Prologue, which is forked to give your taint a rest, but increases the pressure on your sit bones instead). I went a full 16 miles without having to stand or shift forward or backward - something I normally do at least once or twice on any ride longer than 30-45 minutes. With that alone, I was impressed. Combine that with the apparent quality of the materials, stitching, etc., and I'm convinced that they have well-trained 5 year olds putting these things together in some sweatshop to keep the prices as low as they are - because these are easily just as good as my $125 Bontrager bibs."

"This is my first bib short for cycling so I have no other reference. I only started cycling recently, and other cycling shorts I have are the Sponeed non-bib shorts. I researched before getting these and for the price this was highly recommended, together with Santic ones. These fit me well in XL, there is a little extra material around my belly but I think L size would have been possibly too tight, especially around thigh area. These feel soft and comfortable, the straps do not dig into any area and I mostly don't feel them while riding. I only wore them few times so far and after few washes these feel fine. The bottom cushioning seems to be adequate for me, I rode 25 miles the other day and they seemed fine. However, on last ride I had a slight friction in the forbidden area… I will need to use these for couple more times to make sure it's not a flaw of some sort.
Update: After another month, the Sponeed non-bib shorts feel more comfortable. I think the issue might be either with them not fitting me down there all that well or the padding does not go far enough in the front. Otherwise, bib material quality is good, so it’s a bit of a shame."

"Was very hesitant to buy these and actually keep them. I tend to gravitate towards higher end clothing, but with the frequency I ride I wanted some more affordable options.
When the bibs arrived, I was impressed with the quality of the fabric for the price. The chamois seems properly positioned when I am on my saddle, proper part of chamois is over my sit bones.
In regards to sizing, I accidentally ordered M instead of L but ended up keeping them. I could probably wear either size, but medium is nice and snug which I prefer. My dimensions are 33" waist, 39" hips, and 23.5" thigh. A little trick for pulling on tight bibs is to roll back the grippy part on the bibs while you are pulling them on then flip back down. The silicone gripper on the legs works very well for holding the bibs down and in place.
Like I said, these bibs seem great for the price. I will be using them for indoor trainer and training rides where I don't want to wear my more expensive kits all the time. Can’t wait to see how long these bad boys hold up."

"I am a former competitive cyclist. I like my bibs to fit but not too tight, and the padding to be minimal. My bio: 5'8” 145lbs (very lean figure). I bought a medium. The chamois seemed huge at first, but feels fine once on the bike. The pad stays put during 2.5 hr rides. I found the leg openings to be a little snug at first but now appreciate that they keep the material from bunching. When on the size line, go a size up. I'll be getting more! Update: the new red anatomical pad is much better. Nice change, Przewalski!"

"I've been wearing chamois biking shorts or chamois underwear for my rides. I've increased my time on the saddle and needed more comfort. These are my first bib shorts and they are 'miles' better than any of the aforementioned. I have biked about 70 miles in 3 sessions, 30 miles being the longest, and other than some mild irritation, these inexpensive bibs have been what I've been looking for. I also like the pockets for carrying keys, ID, and nutritional bars. So far I'm happy with this purchase."

"I have now purchased the Przewalski Men’s 3D Padded Cycling Bib Shorts, the Astek Premium 14 Panel Padded Cycling Bibs, & the Arsuxeo Men’s Cycling Bibs. First, I am a bigger guy at 5’11” 250 with a long torso. Przewalskis – thickest padding of the 3. Legs are long, torso tight, average material. Least comfortable for my body type, but quality is solid. Rating: 4 stars."

"I was looking for some bibs at a lower price point for commuting. I am 6’, 155-160 lbs, thinner build. I ordered both large and medium. The medium fit better. Took them on a 25 mile ride — good comfort after break-in. Plan to purchase more."

"My waist is 33" and I got the mediums (fit 32-34). They're a little small, tight over shoulders and legs. Wore them on an 18-mile hill loop and they're pretty good bibs. Thin material, good for summer. Nice chamois. Great for the price."

Rich Robinson rated 5 stars and said: "I ordered the x-large size and the fit is good. I’m 5’11” and 190 lbs with a shorter inseam of 29-1/2”. Like the wider shoulder straps and the elastic leg bands are ok. Have only half dozen rides; waiting to see how they hold up. Again the xl size was a good choice. Padding sufficient. Have 200-300 miles logged and material is holding up well. Wish elastic gripper was narrower..3/4" to 1" is sufficient. Would rate these 4.5 of 5 due to leg gripper width."

elizabeth wooley rated 4 stars and said: "(I'm not Elizabeth but her partner James) 6' - 2.5" at 225 with a longer torso and large muscular thighs. I'm a cyclist who averages 120 miles a week combined road and mountain. My first ride in these bibs was a 31 mile ride with temperature of around 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The bibs were relatively comfortable especially the overall fit and the chamois, however the shoulder straps are a bit short and tight and the leg openings are also quite tight and got uncomfortable (cutting into the skin) after about 15-20 miles. This may improve after a break-in period. The short shoulder straps caused a pulling sensation on my shoulders and fatigued me much sooner than normal. If you are a evenly proportioned person then the shoulder straps will most likely not be an issue for you. I read all the reviews and they all mentioned to order a larger size than normal (i'm usually a Large to XL depending on the traditional brand) so this time (according to the sizing guide) I ordered 2XL. If the shoulder straps were about 1 inch (2.5 cm) longer they would be perfect and if the leg openings were also just a bit larger they would be perfect. The quality of the material seems very good and feels great. I did have an issue with one thread of the multi-layer stitching on my right thigh area come undone but I'm not certain if it structural in nature or not (will update if anything gets worse). The DuPont Chamois is hands down THE MOST COMFORTABLE Chamois I have ever felt. The usually sore spots remained comfortable the entire ride. I feel that they would even be comfortable on a 100 mile ride. I would definitely recommend these bibs to anyone looking for a good quality and extremely comfortable chamois ESPECIALLY for the price.I only rated these bibs 4 Stars due to the tight fitting leg openings and the short shoulder straps."

Dylan P. rated 5 stars and said: "I'm 5'10", 185 lbs with 33" waist and 30" inseam. A 3D padded bib large was too small in the shoulder straps and created an uncomfortable pressure. I reordered an XL and it fits perfectly all over. I do have more muscular legs, a little bit of a belly and a thinner upper body. The 3D is very slightly looser in the legs (still snug fit but the 4D are a bit more constricting near the knee). Both 3D and 4D have very good grip strips at the leg opening, so no sliding there.I also have an XL in the 4D version from Przewalski and it has a similar fit.I have been Zwifting daily for several months, averaging 1:30 riding on a racing saddle, covering 25 miles and climbing 1350 feet, and both the 3D and 4D versions are far more comfortable than my "standard chamois" Andare shorts. The 3D feels more padded but neither are bulky. I spend most of my ride time seated, so saddle comfort is the most important factor, but I am able to stand, sit, and adjust position with no shifting of the bibs.My longest ride to date on either set of bibs has been 3.5 hours, with only a short (10 minute) break in the middle. I did a similar duration ride in my standard chamois shorts and was sore for days. The quality of both products is better than I would have expected. My shorts costing significantly more are no better made. I have been able to get by with four sets of riding gear to date, but as I transition to more outdoor riding as the weather warms and allergies subside, I will most certainly be buying more of these bibs. I am not willing to spend several hundred dollars for a brand name bib, but I am also a casual rider, not a racer, so perhaps my style is more suited to this product. I highly recommend them."

Comfortable padding, good quality, and they don’t ride up or bunch. I’ve bought four pairs so far—that says it all!"

Diogenes rated 5 stars and said: "Used size chart to get correct waist fit and it came out perfect. Really like the leg grippers as they keep the end of the legs from riding up and bunching. Length is spot on as well. If you're going to order these, measure you waist so you get the right size. I recommend these bib shorts."

Jon P. rated 4 stars and said: "I received my cycling bibs yesterday and tried them out on an early morning ride this morning. I really started getting into cycling around April of this year and I have invested in several pair of 'regular' cycling shorts but this was my first pair of bib shorts. The outdoor temperature was only 52 F when I took off on a 16 mile ride so I wore leg warmers under the bib shorts.I am 5' 11" with a 36" waist and I found the XL fit me vey well. I was a little concerned at first that the material was going to be too thin to keep me comfortable in 52 degree weather with a constant 20 mph breeze I was happily surprised at how comfortable the bibs were temperature wise, 'stretchiness' wise, and chamois wise. This morning's ride was only 16 and the chamois felt great throughout the ride (I always use Chamois Butt'r creme). I will have to post an update after I have worn these on a longer ride.Overall, these are a great value for the money. The only thing I didn't like about them was I wish the chamois came up about 1" higher in front. I have several pair of 'regular' cycling shorts and a brand new pair of thermal bib tights that I just received and have not worn on a bike yet. The chamois on all the other shorts and the other bibs come up just a little bit higher which I like better than where the top of the chamois ends on these."

Christine Zaggi rated 4 stars and said: "Don't hesitate to put these in your cycling drawer. Even if they are a backup pair. The chamois is solid and dissapears when you are walking or in the saddle. They are lightweight and great for summer.I would have given these an overall 5 but the material is a bit thin and could wear from the saddle after a season or two. Still, for 40 bucks how can you go wrong?Sizing. They are a bit tight. I'm 5'8", around 190 with big thighs, I ordered a medium, as I usually do in Giordana or Garneau. They are tight. I like my shorts tight so that's fine by me. They are also a bit shorter than most shorts on the market. For the older riders out there, think a bit longer pre-Lance days. Again, fine by me with a short inseam.I'm longer in the torso so the bibs are a bit tight in the shoulders, but not enough for me to not buy another pair.I could have worn a large, but I'm happy with the medium. Bottom line, if you like they less tight then size up.Color. I ordered the gray. This is a personal choice. It's a medium gray, the material is very lightweight (good for summer), so you can imagine that if you are more modest about what's on display then don't order the gray. Again, I have no issues here, just letting you know up front."

Ryan Bateman rated 5 stars and said: "These were purchased with the hopes my rides would be longer and less painful. I struggle with wearing this style of shorts simply for the reason I am overweight for my height. But I had to set that aside if I want to get healthy and ride longer. They do just that. I went from riding 8-10 miles in discomfort to now riding 12-18 miles and my butt isn’t sore at all. I ride a Trek Domane SL5 with a very expensive Fazik saddle. The reason I mention this is because I bought them thinking it would be more comfortable but the truth is without padded cycling shorts you will suffer. The price of these shorts is 1/3 of the top name brands of other bibs and shorts. In case you don’t know, do not wash these any other way then gentle, cold water and no fabric softener. You can wash them with other clothes with similar colors. Tide seems to be a good to go brand for detergent. DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DRYER. Hang them and let them air dry inside out. You don’t want mold so make sure they are getting air throughout. Buy them!"

ryan rated 5 stars and said: "Had 3 of these for 5 years. The only issue is the print came off 1 and the oldest pair has some small wear and tear around the leg gripper. (Edit: the new style has a way better leg gripper). As many times as these have been washed I'm very impressed and resubmitted another order."

DAMAGED ORIGINAL REPLACED IMMEDIATELY. WELL DONE ! rated 5 stars and said: "The original bibs came with a finger sized hole in the left side. As instructed, I returned the bibs to a nearby Whole Foods...easy, friendly, efficient and free. My replacement bibs arrived three days later in perfect condition.I'm 5' 10"; 153 lbs. The fit is ideally snug. The pad is also ideal. I wouldn't hesitate using them for a 50 mile ride to start or perhaps much longer when I have a chance to ride test them."

Mark Smith rated 5 stars and said: "My Italian designed (made in Slovakia) cycling shorts are superb but their price has rocketed in the past 3 years making direct replacements stupidly unaffordable. These Przewalski 3D shorts offer an all round much better alternative. I an enthusiastic amateur at 63 yo and cycle every day on average 60 Km (40 miles) at about 28 kph (17 mph) in a tropical climate where the temperature reaches 40 C (>100 F), the relative humidity is high and in monsoon downpours you get very, very wet. I cycled yesterday for 2 hours through a hot and very rainy monsoon and the shorts stayed comfortable throughout. I have tested them on endurance rides of 100 miles (161 km) for over 6 hours and they stayed blissfully comfortable despite legacy saddle sores from previously wearing designed in/made in China much inferior shorts.I'd prefer if the inseam was a couple of centimetres longer (1") but this is a trivial point in comparison to their otherwise excellent comfort and value for money. I've already bought another pair and will buy only these in the future."

Riccardo B rated 5 stars and said: "I've got 10+ rides/ 20 hours or so on the saddle. Verdict? Buy 'em! With these little caveats and observations in mind: They run small. I usually wear L ( P-I, Descent, Special lies, ). Even so, the legs should/could be 2-3 longer at minimum. Hard to keep the legwarmers up, not going to be a problem when it warms up. The fronts could dip down 2-3 inches to make comfort breaks a bit easier for guys. The fabric is pretty stretchy, but still...So far ( unlike normally) I have worn these every time to discover any problems and thus needing to send them back within 30 day limit. Washed every time ( who doesn't? What's wrong with you?) in extra water, very little soap, gentle cycle. Always dried inside on hanger. Like them so much I purchased two more. They are a steal. Unlike some asian manufacturers, these guys clearly have experience with high quality big brands."

Gerald rated 4 stars and said: "First off I gave this an overall 4 rating because I have not had a chance to use them yet. However the quality seems very good and a test fit seemed to show they are very comfortable to wear as well as sitting on my bike. I just wanted to give a quick review due to the fact choosing the correct size for these can be tricky for first time buyers. I’m 5’11, 200 pounds with a 38 waist line and moderate muscular build. Definitely not ripped just an average fit guy. I purchased the large and they fit perfectly. Standing up the straps are not too tight on my shoulder to the point of discomfort. However when riding this isn’t an issue as you’re bent over so it puts some slack on the shoulder straps. But when in a cycling position they are not super loose on the shoulders. I would say a large fits me to a perfectly. They are meant to fit tight so on my thighs they are snug but not restricting and the build in pad is very comfy. I know riding bibs aren’t meant to take away all the discomfort of a bicycle seat but I’m sure these will do just fine for long rides. I primarily ride mountain bike a few times a week when I have the chance. If you’re in my size range or near it I think a large size will do you just fine."

Splatthew rated 5 stars and said: "I’m 5’10” 157lbs and usually wear a small, but I took reviewer’s advice and purchased the mediums and they fit well. Good chamois, nice wide grippers on the legs, and good stretch to the bib. Excellent bibs for the money."

Matthew Steinkamp rated 5 stars and said: "You know the old adage “you get what you pay for”? Well I’ve had that experience with bibs/cycling kit that I’ve purchased on Amazon. I thought there wasn’t a set of bibs out there that would work for me for under $100. Well I decided to pull the trigger on this value brand and oh my lord am I happy I did. So I will say they don’t hold a candle to my Castelli bibs but they are awesome for anything you are going to throw at them. I’m 5’10”, 150lbs and typical lanky cyclist build. I ordered size medium and crosses my fingers. First time I put them on they feel like they were custom made just for me. Leg openings are snug but not too tight. The shoulder straps are nice and wide to disperse the weight and offer the perfect support. The chamois...something that has been a short coming in all cheap bibs...was perfect. The front portion is thinner for when you’re in an aero position in the drops. The back is thicker for when you’re more upright and gives your sit bones some nice cushy padding. The material the only place I’d give these bibs a dig but then again for the price you can’t expect them to be made out of exotic materials. They don’t breathe very well so I would suggest to use these for under 70F days or endurance days where you’re not really pushing it. I will buying these again...and again...and again. I would just suggest making a “pro” model with power bands and some ventilation built in with maybe some thinner materials."

Don Scott rated 5 stars and said: "I'm really impressed with these bike bibs. Unlike most that I've tried, they are a comfortable fit and perform very well. Thighs are snug but I have large thighs and still very wearable. I purchased a pair last year and in the last 7 months, I put on 1200+ miles. This last purchase was my 2nd pair because I was so happy with the first (so now I have green seams and blue seams - mixing it up). A couple hundred of miles on these and I figured I'd leave a comment - something I seldom do but really happy with these. FYI - I'm s stocky built person, 5'10.5" and 220 lbs. big chest & big legs and a large fits me well. Other bibs I've tried won't go over my thighs and the shoulder straps are often too tight. I hope this helps you out."

Brian rated 5 stars and said: "I have a 29-30" waist and 38-39" chest. I initially ordered a size medium, but they were too big. I exchanged for a small and the size small fit perfectly. I've done a 25.5 mile ride in these and they were very comfortable. No issues with the chamois. I like the single-layer fabric gripper at the hem. The side cargo pockets are a bit narrow, but they stretch nicely. I could fit my phone in a pocket, but not sure I'd trust the pocket to hold it during an entire ride. I have had issues with other cargo bibs that seem to push items up and out of the pockets as I ride, but I kept a tube of chapstick in these and had no problems with it staying put. I would buy these again."

Osvaldo G. rated 4 stars and said: "I took these out for a test ride and have a few observations. For reference, I am 6'2" and around 240lbs with bulkier than average legs and an XL fit nicely. The tldr: decent quality, great value. I will definitely be keeping this pair. Whether or not I'll buy again remains to be seen but if you don't want to spend a small fortune on premium bibs, you can't go wrong. More details below: 1. As far as craftsmanship and fit, you definitely get what you pay for. The fit is OK, the leg openings are a little snug and had impressions in my legs from the sticky part. On more premium bibs, the sticky part on the openings are spread out over a wide area, cutting back on the making deep marks on your legs. On the plus side, they did not ride up! 2. The chamois was pretty comfy, but a little bulky for my liking. This is definitely a personal preference as I don't like to be reminded that the chamois is there. But if you like bulky chamois, you'll be very happy. 3. The material doesn't seem as breathable as other bibs I've worn in the past, but the moisture wicking was pretty good."

Chloeba rated 5 stars and said: "Ok, so I bought the Przewalski Men’s 3D Padded Cycling Bike Bib Shorts in the spring of 2018. Before, believe it or not, I wasn't using any padded shorts! So, compared to that I thought these were great. The only time I began to feel any discomfort was at the end of a 50 mile ride. But, would a more expensive pair feel more comfortable? I then acquired a $104.00 pair of Bontrager bib shorts. I took them back because they weren't nearly as comfortable (discomfort within 15 - 20 miles). I continued to use the Przewalskis. Finally, I decided to purchase a pair of $180.00 Specialized RBX Pro bib shorts (I know, $180 bucks for shorts is embarrassing, but I like to be comfy and if the less expensive Przewalskis were good...) Well, the RBX's are nice, but the have nothing in comfort on the Przewalskis. Check out the photo. The Przewalskis have the green insert and the Specialized have the red insert. As you can see the Przewalskis have a 3 D insert produced by Dupont. They, like the RBX's have the most/best padding on the seat bone area. They are not too bulky. The rest of the bib shorts are also well constructed with panels that make the fit very good. The RBX's fit well also but actually are less comfy because the stitching is slightly scratchy which causes some slight itching. As you can see, you are getting a 'higher-end short' at a much more comfortable price. I'll let you take it from there. ps. I've now bought a second pair of Przewalski Men’s 3D Padded Cycling Bike Bib Shorts."

After some research on the best cycling bibs, I decided I didn't need the absolute best and latest - and therefore most expensive! So instead of spending 100s of dollars, I narrowed it down to this pair, based on very positive Amazon reviews and a great price point. They are a little bit on the small side, so maybe order a size up from what you're used to. But apart from that, great product. I'll enjoy wearing these for miles to come!"

JH rated 5 stars and said: "These are very economical, light weight bib shorts that do the job particularly for summer use. Compared to brand name bib shorts, these are a no brainer unless you feel it necessary to spend $150-$250 for bibs that will wear out just as quick. Do yourself a favor, spend the $40 and try ‘em. Now I’m about 5’8” 185 lbs. and use the size large. Gives me just a bit of extra room so they don’t feel restrictive. I have a couple pair of P.I. bibs that cost me way more and they seem to wear quicker in the crotch, not as comfortable, and left a lot less in my wallet. Put things into perspective here, and do yourself a favor. Take the $100 you saved and put it in your Roth IRA. Highly recommended."
