Description

Built for gravel riders who spend long hours over changing surfaces, the PRZEWALSKI Men’s Gravel Endurance Bib Shorts combine high-compression support, breathable mesh straps, and a high-density chamois for demanding endurance rides.

The 230 g/m² fabric helps keep the shorts and chamois stable as riding position changes, while 5.5 cm mesh straps release heat across the shoulders and back. Wide 6 cm silicone grippers reduce leg ride-up and the need for repeated adjustments.

Recommended for rides up to 7 hours, these bib shorts focus on what matters as distance increases: consistent chamois support, moisture management, stable positioning, and dependable comfort across long gravel sessions.

Chamois: High-Density Support for Up to 7 Hours

The 360 × 210 mm chamois uses 120 kg/m³ high-density foam to provide structured cushioning across the two main saddle-contact areas: the sit bones and perineum. The firmer foam is designed to remain supportive as time in the saddle increases.

Both the sit-bone and perineal zones use 12 mm cushioning. Keeping the thickness balanced across these areas provides consistent support without making the pad unnecessarily bulky between the legs.

Recommended for rides up to 7 hours, the chamois is built for endurance-focused gravel sessions where riders spend extended periods seated while also changing position for climbs, acceleration, and rougher sections.

The chamois is sewn securely into the shorts. Combined with the high-compression main fabric and stable leg openings, this helps keep the pad aligned and reduces the need to reposition the shorts as the ride continues.

Details

5.5 cm Mesh Bib Straps | Wider Support, Less Shoulder Concentration

The 5.5 cm bib straps and rear section use breathable mesh, allowing heat and moisture to escape across the upper body during longer gravel rides.
The wider construction distributes tension over more of the shoulder instead of concentrating support into narrow straps. This becomes increasingly valuable as ride duration increases and small pressure points become more noticeable.
With stretch recovery greater than 99.9%, the mesh returns to shape after repeated movement, helping maintain consistent upward support through seated pedaling, standing efforts, and changing riding positions.
6 cm Silicone Grippers | Stable Legs Over Long Gravel Sessions

The inner leg openings use 6 cm silicone grippers applied directly to the original fabric. The wide contact area helps keep the hems in position through repeated pedaling and frequent posture changes.
For the rider, stable leg openings mean less gradual ride-up and less fabric gathering around the thighs. This also helps the shorts and chamois maintain their intended position over longer distances.
Because the silicone is applied to the main fabric rather than a separate heavy band, the gripper area retains the breathable character of the shorts while adding reliable position control.
230 g/m² High-Compression Fabric | Support That Stays Consistent

The main fabric combines 53% nylon and 47% spandex at 230 g/m². Its high-compression construction helps the shorts follow the hips and thighs closely, reducing loose folds and shifting during repeated pedaling.
On longer gravel rides, this stable fit helps keep the chamois aligned instead of allowing the shorts to gradually move as the rider alternates between seated and standing efforts.
Moisture absorption ≥200% and quick-dry performance ≥0.25 g/h help absorb and release sweat, reducing the damp and clingy feeling that can build during sustained riding.
Regular Fit | Endurance Support Without an Overly Aggressive Cut

The regular cycling fit combines close support with enough flexibility for natural movement through the hips and thighs. It avoids an excessively restrictive race-only feel while still keeping the fabric stable around the body.
This makes the shorts suited to long gravel rides where riders repeatedly change posture rather than remaining locked into one position throughout the session.
If your measurements fall between two sizes, choosing the larger size is recommended for more comfortable waist, hip, and thigh coverage during longer rides.
UPF 50+ & Reflective Detail | Coverage for Long Outdoor Rides

The main fabric provides UPF 50+ coverage for exposed daytime riding, adding useful protection for gravel riders spending extended periods outdoors.
A 10 × 70 mm reflective strip is positioned at the left leg opening. When illuminated by direct light, it provides an additional visible point in lower-light conditions.
The reflective element supports visibility but does not replace bicycle lights, reflective accessories, or other appropriate visibility equipment.

What helps prevent the shorts and chamois from shifting?

High-compression fabric, wide mesh straps, and 6 cm silicone grippers work together to maintain a more stable position.

Which size should I choose when between sizes?

Good padding without too much bulk

I used these for a ride where the temperature changed quite a bit over 57 miles on a route with a few short climbs, and the chamois stayed comfortable from start to finish. The compression is noticeable but even, which helped the bibs feel secure without cutting circulation. I would be comfortable using it for normal weekly riding without babying it.

Good for road miles

These went through an easy recovery spin in a mild evening ride, and the support felt consistent even after I had been seated for a long stretch. The leg bands held without leaving a sharp pressure line, and the straps lay flat under my jersey. I’d personally prefer a touch more room at the leg opening, though it never became uncomfortable.

Nice fit once I got the sizing right

I wore these for a relaxed endurance day in a cool early start, including a few hard efforts, and they stayed stable without bunching. I moved between the hoods and drops a lot, and the pad stayed centered rather than creeping forward. I’ve washed it a few times on a gentle cycle and haven’t noticed any change in shape.

No rubbing on my usual route

I wore these for a casual coffee ride in a warm, dry morning, including a few hard efforts, and they stayed stable without bunching. I moved between the hoods and drops a lot, and the pad stayed centered rather than creeping forward. I would be comfortable using it for normal weekly riding without babying it. By the end of the ride I had no hot spots around the saddle area.

Comfortable on longer rides

I took these out for a weekend endurance ride and spent a lot of time changing position on the bike; the fit stayed settled the whole time. I did not get any rubbing around the inner thigh, even after the ride got hot and sweaty. For the price, it has been a very easy piece to keep in my regular rotation.
